Water Access Projects
Our Water Access Projects bring sustainable water infrastructure to underserved communities across Nigeria. We believe that clean water is a fundamental human right and essential for health, education, and economic development.
Through the construction of boreholes, water wells, and water treatment facilities, we provide communities with reliable access to clean, safe drinking water. Our projects include community training on water management, sanitation practices, and maintenance to ensure long-term sustainability.
Challenge & Solution
Many rural and underserved communities in Nigeria lack access to clean, safe drinking water. This forces residents, particularly women and children, to travel long distances to fetch water from unsafe sources, impacting health, education, and economic opportunities. Our program addresses these challenges by constructing sustainable water infrastructure, providing community training on water management and sanitation, establishing water committees for maintenance, and implementing water quality monitoring systems.
Impact & Results
We've successfully constructed 25+ boreholes and water wells, providing clean water access to over 15,000 people across multiple communities. Our projects have reduced waterborne diseases by 70% in target communities, freed up 3-5 hours daily for women and children (previously spent fetching water), and improved school attendance rates by 40% as children no longer need to fetch water during school hours. Additionally, our water projects have enabled small-scale agriculture and economic activities in previously water-scarce areas.
